1. This Policy applies to the Tyre(s) for the following types of vehicles:

cars, SUVs, and pickups purchased by You at Bridgestone Service Centers in Port Louis or Phoenix (the "Bridgestone Service Center").

2. The Policy Coverage

a. Repair Criteria

• If the Tyre is repairable, the repair will be made at no cost.
• The repair of your Tyre will only be made if the puncture hole measures only 8 mm in diameter in the tread area, provided that the tread wear indicator is above 1.6 mm. This Policy covers only 2 repairs.
• If 3 repairs or more are needed, the Tyres shall be replaced on the terms and conditions set out in Section 2.2. below.
• The repair is optional and does not apply if You do not agree to repair the Tyre under this Policy.

b. Discount For Purchase of New Tyre(s)

• If the Tyre cannot be repaired or if 3 repairs or more are needed as provided in Section 2.1 above, we will provide You with a discount for the purchase of the new Tyre(s) of the same size and model and for the use on the same vehicle mentioned on the invoice taking into account the remaining tread depth of Your damaged Tyre(s). The discount will be defined as an amount equivalent to the average remaining tread depth of the Tyre(s) given that the tread wear is above 1.6 mm. For example, if 25 % of your Tyre tread has been used as of the date of the accidental road damage, You will be provided with a 75% discount on the Tire purchase price.
• The services related to demounting and mounting of the Tyre(s) will be provided to You at no cost.

3. How to get the Policy coverage

• You shall visit any Bridgestone Service Center referred to in Section 1 above and present Your purchase invoice and the email confirming the activation of this Policy.

4. Exemption of the Policy

This Policy does not apply if any of the following conditions are met:

• Your Tyre(s) tread depth is less than 1.6 mm;
• The Tyre(s) were purchased to be used on the delivery vans, trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles;
• The Tyre (s) Production date is over 5 years ago;
• The Tyre(s) is used for motor racing circuits;
• Intentional acts of misuse/ damage: Tyres were intentionally damaged, for example, but not limited to, a deliberate act of sabotage, etc.;
• Abnormal usage /uneven wear;
• Retreaded tyres;
• Natural phenomena: Floods, storms, or unusual floods, and fires, etc.
